Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Heritage Albany Spray Foam Insulation, an insulation contractor in Albany, GA, to work on your home or building. By using the site, calling us or signing an estimate, you agree to them, so please read them before you book. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or schedule work with us.

We've kept the wording plain, but it's still a legal agreement between you and Heritage Albany Spray Foam Insulation.

What we do

We insulate and seal homes and commercial buildings in Albany and the cities around it. That includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, insulation removal, air sealing and crawl space vapor barriers.

Our home page lists every service we offer, and our About page explains who we are. The work we'll do at your property is the work written in your signed estimate, not what's described on this website, because every attic, wall and crawl space is different.

Information on this site is general and isn't advice for your specific house. We'll give you advice for your house when we see it.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free, come with no obligation and are given at your property, because the price depends on things we can only check in person. Those things include the size of the space, how much old insulation is already up there and what shape it's in, how hard the area is to reach and the material you choose.

A written estimate is good for the period stated on it. If we open up an area and find something the estimate didn't cover, such as wet or contaminated insulation that has to come out first or damaged framing, we'll stop and explain it. We won't do the extra work or charge for it until you approve the change in writing.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you. Weather, material deliveries and earlier jobs can move that date, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to clear stored items from the attic, garage or crawl space path when your estimate asks you to. On spray foam jobs, the crew will tell you when everyone, including kids and pets, needs to be out and when it's safe to come back in. That waiting period is called the re-entry time, and you agree to follow it.

To cancel or reschedule, call (229) 302-4846 or reach us through our Contact page as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials for your job or arrived on site, you may owe for those materials and the time already spent, as your estimate states.

Payment

Your estimate sets out the payment terms, including any deposit and the payment methods we accept. Unless your estimate says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If an invoice goes unpaid, we may charge reasonable collection costs where Georgia law allows them.

Our guarantee and warranty limits

We're fully licensed and insured, and your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you're not happy with how a job was done, tell us and we'll come back and make it right.

Any written warranty for your job, and any warranty from the material maker, is described in your estimate or invoice. Beyond what's written there, this website and our services are provided "as is," and to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

We can't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in a room, because results depend on the house, the heating and cooling system, the weather and how the house is used.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Georgia law allows, Heritage Albany Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from this website or our work, such as lost use of a room or higher energy costs. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We aren't responsible for problems that existed before we arrived or that our work didn't cause, such as roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests or damage hidden inside walls and framing. If we notice something like that while we're working, we'll tell you.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

If something about a job isn't right, call us first, because most problems get settled faster in a conversation than anywhere else. If we can't work it out, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before either of us goes to court.

Any lawsuit about these terms or our work will be filed in the state or federal courts that serve Albany, Georgia.

Which law applies

These terms, your use of this website and any job we do are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The terms in effect when you sign an estimate apply to that job.

If you have a question about any of this, our Contact page lists the ways to reach us, and we reply within 1 business day.
